Fluidion and Sepia Conseils have recently presented their novel pollution monitoring technologies at the second UNESCO Water, Megacities and Global Change conference EauMega in Paris, France (January 11-14 2022):
fluidion is an innovative high-technology company providing autonomous in-situ sampling and measurement solutions for environmental monitoring and water quality applications: sample collection, chemical measurements, microbiological analysis. fluidion addresses the pollution monitoring and water quality markets, from the urban setting (drinking water, rain water and wastewater) to the natural environment (beach monitoring, stormwater, lakes, rivers, coastal waters and ocean waters), to large industrial sites (chemical facilities, ports, ...).
The fluidion products are based on a highly innovative technology that combines MEMS and microfluidic elements. We are developing automatic samplers and fluid analyzers that can perform microbiological or chemical measurements and have embedded data telemetry functionalities.
The fields of application for fluidion samplers and analyzers are very diverse: recreational sites, environmental monitoring stations, wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, drinking water facilities, instrumented data buoys, underwater robots, industrial sites and chemical facilities.
fluidion technology is based on a break-through patented innovation that enables the deployment of metrological capsules capable of performing intelligent actions such as sample intake and/or measurements at predefined time intervals or by remote command, without (or with very little) electrical consumption.
